Kenisha Brown-Alexander, Founder of Game Changers United ™,
knows what it means to build a career in the sports industry from the ground up. As a Black woman who navigated one of the most competitive industries in the world, she climbed her way from working two part-time jobs simultaneously to becoming an executive leader, experiencing firsthand what it means to be passed over, overlooked and still choose to press forward. That journey is exactly what she brings into the room.
With 18 years of experience in large-scale event operations, Kenisha is a seasoned leader in volunteer recruitment, training and management for some of the biggest events in sports. She has led volunteer initiatives for the Orange Bowl Committee, Super Bowl Committee and the College Football Playoff, training and preparing tens of thousands of volunteers to execute at the highest level. She is committed to ensuring that the next generation of sports professionals understands that every role, no matter where it starts, is an opportunity to grow, be seen and advance.
At the GCU Summit, Kenisha will lead sessions on leadership and mindset, equipping emerging sports professionals with the tools to endure the process, stay the course and show up with the professionalism and confidence that sets them apart. She will also lead the volunteer training and orientation for Part 2, preparing participants to not just show up at the Aflac Football Kickoff game but to stand out.
